₹3,000 Cr Solar Boost: SAEL Delivers 600 MW to AP

SAEL Industries has commissioned 600 MW AC solar power projects in the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh within 11 months of signing an agreement with the state government, involving an investment of ₹3,000 crore.

The projects are among the first large-scale renewable energy installations completed under Andhra Pradesh’s Integrated Clean Energy Policy 2024, representing a major step forward in the state’s clean energy expansion efforts.

The facilities were formally inaugurated in Kurnool on Friday by Nara Lokesh, Andhra Pradesh Minister for Information Technology, Electronics & Communications, Real Time Governance, and Human Resources Development.

Officials noted that the swift execution of the projects highlights the state government’s commitment to accelerating renewable energy capacity addition and strengthening clean power infrastructure across Andhra Pradesh.
